What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, a display name, and any profile details you choose to add (handle, bio, home city, profile photo). When you use PakScore we also store the content you create — reviews, ratings, photos, suggestions, follows, and helpful votes — along with standard technical logs such as IP address and browser type, which we keep for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To run the service: publishing your reviews under your public profile, sending account emails such as email confirmation and password resets, and notifying you about your suggestions.
• To keep scores honest: detecting duplicate accounts, fake reviews, and abuse.
• To improve PakScore: understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

What's public

Your reviews, ratings, photos, handle, display name, bio, home city, badges, and reviewer level are public. Your email address is never shown publicly. Reports you file against reviews are confidential.

Where your data lives

Account data is stored on our own servers. Uploaded images are stored with our cloud storage provider and served from our CDN. Transactional email is delivered through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Your choices

• You can edit your profile — including removing your photo and bio — at any time from your settings.
• You can ask us to delete your account and its personal data by contacting us. Reviews may be anonymised rather than deleted where they are part of a listing's score history.

Cookies

PakScore uses only the cookies needed to run the site: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect forms. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
